Smart line linking
DoView has 'smart' line linking. Line and arrow links can be quickly arranged any way you want them. The horizontal segments of lines are 'clamped' just above a step so they remain in the right position, but can can easily be unclamped. In addition, the DoView link endpoint symbols (an inverted V representing the end of an arrow and two small lines representing the start of a line) are always shown when you click on a link. This makes clear all the steps a selected step is linked to and also lets you make links right across a diagram even when you are unable to have a drawn line and arrow (something you cannot do in other software).
